Care-a-thonAbout Care-a-thon
Calvary 88.5 is a listener-supported radio station that shares the good news of Jesus Christ with the heart of America and the world. This ministry continues due to God's faithfulness. Each Care-a-thon we witness how He provides through the generosity of His people. Care-a-thon is our semi-annual fundraising drive where we ask our listeners to partner in ministry with Calvary 88.5 through prayer and financial support. Calvary 88.5 ministers to the Kansas City community and the world (via the internet) (24hours a day and commercial free) with positive, encouraging music, family friendly programs and solid Bible teaching.
Prayer & Praise Day
As a part of each Care-a-thon, Monday is always dedicated to Prayer and Praise to our God for all He has done. We do not accept pledges on this day, as all calls are strictly to share prayer requests and/or praise reports. There will be trained couselors to answer phone calls for those who need to share a burden. On-air announcers will also be taking calls all day in the studio
