Preparing for Shopping on Black Friday
1. Find the Ads - checkout the following sites for ads from major retail stores.  bfads.net, gottadeal.com and slickdeals.net.
2. Prioritize your list - Prioritize your items so you know exactly what you're getting and where you're getting it.
3. Learn the rules - Many stores have special store hours and some stores will be giving out tickets/vouchers several hours before opening.
4. Coordinate with others - Go with at least one friend or family member. If you want "doorbuster" sale items from mulitpule locations, coordinate a "Strike Team".
5. Pack accordingly - Maybe pack a folding chair, blanket, snacks and water.

Thanksgiving Travel Tips
Travel by Car
Busiest travel days are Wednesday and Thursday.  Try leaving a day early.  The time of day most cars travel is between 9am and noon.  Try leaving early or in the late afternoon.

Travel by Airplane
A AAA poll indicates that 82% of all holiday travelers travel by car.  Airline's use holidays as blackout days for using frequent flier miles so check before trying to use them.  Take some food with you for the plane. Also leave about 2 hours before takeoff.
